Brand Identity for a DJ, Producer & Mixing Engineer
One brand for one artist — DJ, producer, and mixing engineer. Monogram + wordmark system, business cards on textured stock, and merch fans actually wear.

Where they started
John is a Montreal DJ, producer, and mixing engineer — one person, three hats, and no consistent brand across them. He needed an identity that worked everywhere he shows up: Instagram avatar, SoundCloud thumbnails, cards handed out at industry events, and merch that reads as a music brand from across the room.
What we did
- 01
Identity: researched mixing-engineer brand conventions — most look identical. Designed a JB monogram with wave-derived geometry, tested from 16px favicon to billboard, delivered in light/dark/mono variants with usage guidelines.
- 02
Business cards: monogram + name on the front, contacts and platforms on the back, 32pt textured stock with soft-touch laminate — printed through our supplier network in Montreal.
- 03
Merch: hoodie (everyday) + snapback (statement). Embroidered monogram at chest, wordmark across the back; structured 6-panel cap. Tech packs shipped to the manufacturer.
- 04
Every piece runs on the same mark — the brand looks like one artist whether you meet him at an event, stream his mixes, or see the merch in a crowd.
